In the past the MegaCity Chorus has only raised funds by singing. While that has been sufficient in previous years, the Chorus has greater financial demands now that they are regularly representing the Ontario District at the Barbershop Harmony Society's International Competition and our trip to St. Petersburg Russia for the Russian Barbershop Harmony Festival.
To meet those challenges the chapter has found an easy way of fund raising that does not require the selling of chocolate bars and the like. In fact this fundraising method will not cost supporters any additional money.
Through a partnership with Rebateacause.com the chapter has launched a shopping village that will pay rebates for purchases that supporters make at selected online retailers.
Do you shop online at websites like Ebay.ca, Dealsoutlet.ca or Canadiantire.ca ? Well if you do, all you need to do is access the site using our link and then rebates will be paid to the chapter for your purchases.
